You're cordially invited to join us for our upcoming spring ice show event!
All skaters are encouraged to participate. We'd be delighted to have you join us.
A registration packet with detailed information will be emailed to you shortly.
This year's theme is 'Viva ICE Vegas,' bringing the sights and sounds of the entertainment
capital of the world to life on ice.
Skaters will learn an exciting skating routine! They will have the opportunity to perform for their family and friends under the spotlights at the Hastings Civic Arena during our annual ice show! Practices will take place on Saturdays starting in January before learn to skate classes.
Registration includes group practice time, ice time, choreographer fees, costume, 1-digital recording of the show, 1-full color ice show program,
ice show t-shirt, cast pizza party & more fun than you can imagine!
Skate with Santa Event

6:00-8:30 pm Hastings Civic Arena
Hastings community is invited to participate in our Skate with Santa Event
6:00-7:15 pm *River Blades skaters perform to your favorite holiday tunes
7:15-8:30 pm Open skate & photos with Santa
*Santa will be on the ice to skate with everyone 7:15-8:00 pm
$2 suggested donation per person to benefit the Hastings food shelf
These classes will learn a short routine to perform at the Skate with Santa Event.

If you’re skater is unavailable to participate please let Kate know at the front desk, & email the director Amanda. When the class is practicing their routine a high school instructor will work with the skaters that are not performing in the skate with Santa show. We do hope everyone can participate, it’s a fun evening that the kids absolutely love!!!

Sat. 10/26 skaters will start learning their short routines 15 minutes every week that they will perform in the Skate with Santa Event & Show Sat. 12/14 @ 6 pm.
Sat. 11/16 Skaters will try on costumes supplied Sat. 11/16 please see costume try on sheet.
Private lessons
Would your skater enjoy one on one time with an instructor to learn new skills, improve current skills, and continue to excel? Scheduling a few private lessons with our trained and qualified instructors will benefit your skater tremendously. Private lessons allow the instructor to hone in on specific skills your skater would like to improve on.
Nov-December
We have opportunities on select Saturday mornings & Sunday evenings in Nov. & Dec. with our staff coaches. If your skater is interested in improving their skills touch base with director Amanda Truax for more information. 763-232-5195
