It's been a wonderful and successful year with River Blades and it's not over yet...

River Blades celebrated their 10th anniversary and going into our 11th year we had some great things happening for us starting with the US Figure Skating Championships. It was held at the Xcel Center and a team of River Blades skaters were able to perform at the closing ceremonies and it was also choreographed by Amanda Truax.
The second thing we did this year that was great...River Blades was able to perform in the Stars On Ice amature number. Stars On Ice is a production that incorporates all the Olympic Skaters that were in the Olympics. Our River Blades Skaters performed at their show, which was a lot of fun.
The next thing that we performed in was ISI World Recreational Team Championships in Blaine, MN. That was held in July 2016 and there were skaters from all over the world...from Japan and China, there were skaters from all over the United States competing. River Blades won the Team Production Award...we won 1st place for our team halloween routine that we did together. A lot of the girls also competed in individual events and were very successful at that. 

Upcoming this weekend we will be performing at the Wells Fargo Winter Skate in downtown St. Paul at their grand opening at 5 PM. We also have our Skate With Santa Event coming up on December 10th from 6 PM - 8 PM.
We've had a very busy season, a very successful season and we look forward to another great year!
